The Clara the Crab toy is the cutest plush toy that I own! I’m amazed that it has been able to withstand my large dog’s chewing without showing many signs of wear or damage. To help support our sustainability mission and B Corp certification, we felt we could make a better toy. This includes increased durability and finding sustainable materials, like post-consumer recycled plastic, recycled organic cotton, and natural hemp.
Making one of the toughest plush dog toys available, we needed to pay attention to every detail. Every plush dog toy is doubled stitched for extra strength and durability. The outer fabric lining is made from extra tough PET and is lined with an inner fabric coating to add additional strength, helping withstand even the roughest play sessions.
Of course, no dog toy is indestructible, and if your dog has a tendency to destroy toys, often when there's a will, there's a way. If your dog manages to destroy one of our plush toys, please reach out to our Customer Care Team.
Post-consumer recycled plastics are manufactured using previously made plastic products (like water bottles). The process of reusing plastics and converting them into new products reduces the amount of waste in the environment.
