Only Natural Pet Celebrates Bike to Work Day 2022

June 22nd, 2022 was Colorado Bike to Work Day and Only Natural Pet was excited to participate - not just with team members riding to work, but with our very own station! Participating in Bike to Work festivities is just one of the many ways we fulfill our commitment to sustainability.
What Is Bike to Work Day?
Bike to Work Day is an annual event in the Denver metropolitan area organized by Way to Go, a program of the Denver Regional Council. Bike to Work Day encourages commuters to ride their bikes to their offices, either partially with the support of public transportation (in the case of longer commutes), or for the full trip. Bike to Work Day was created to help commuters save money on their commutes, improve their health, lower stress, reduce traffic congestion, and improving air quality.
Bike to Work Station
Only Natural Pet's Flagship Boulder Store was one of 186 Bike to Work Stations where commuters could stop for breakfast, water, snacks, and to learn about supporting companies. We served over 400 hungry bike commuters, handing out 300 breakfast tacos and 4 dozen doughnuts.
Our Bike to Work station was a great opportunity for bike commuters to learn about our sustainability initiatives, including our B Corp certification and our carbon neutral pet foods.
Bike to Work Participation
Along with our station, we also had a number of team members bike commute to our Boulder Store, Greenwood Village Store, distribution center, and office.
